Psa intends to communicate with members throughout the year on the implementation of the terms of the new agreement, including the many improvements made by PSA members during this round of negotiations. Rebuild has repeatedly challenged the employer in its agenda – first of all, with regard to questioning DTF statistics and the future directions of the public sector in the importance of training mental health workers. DTF agreed that this point should be negotiable. Rebuild strives to ensure that employees are no worse off than other public sector employees. The private sector is covered by the Commonwealth Fair Work Act 2009. Productivity gains achieved by public sector employees through closure, outsourcing, calibration or reduction must be recognized and contribute to the group`s outcome.
